On December 26, 2017, Miranda Soto, the Founder of Good Blessings Bath Bags, was in a serious car accident that forever changed the trajectory of her life. Miranda suffered a traumatic brain injury and was hospitalized for several days following the accident and endured many months of cognitive and physical therapy. While being hospitalized, Miranda learned that she had a brain tumor that eventually would require brain surgery with titanium plates and screws.
The road to recovery process from her car accident, Miranda began to learn about the healing and restorative properties of mindfulness, meditation, aromatherapy, essential oils, homeopathic remedies, and energy crystals. To calm her mind after a long day, Miranda would take meditative baths to help her focus on manifesting good health, well-being, and healing. This became a daily ritual and was pivotal in Miranda’s recovery process from her car accident and then her brain surgery. Miranda made what could only be described as a “miraculous” recovery by her healthcare providers after her brain tumor surgery.
Aside from conventional medicine, Miranda attributes much of her healing to meditation and mindfulness and used both disciplines to her recovery process. In 2018, as a way to amplify her healing and meditative state, Miranda started creating bath bags using various herbs, spices, berries, ancient resins, flowers, essential oils, Dead Sea salts, and energy crystals in each bag. The results for her were amazing!
As her road to recovery slowly progressed from her car accident, Miranda then began to create bath bags to assist with manifesting things like love, happiness, positive energy, relaxation, better sleep, and abundance.
In 2020, Miranda decided to share her gift with friends and family as a way to show gratitude and appreciation for this blessing. The positive feedback received about her bath bags from her loved ones was humbling and inspirational!
Miranda decided to turn her labor of love into Good Blessings Bath Bags Inc. and share her gift beyond friends and family. Despite the physical and emotional pain Miranda endured from her car accident and brain surgery, she is forever grateful for the health, wisdom, guidance, and strength she has gained from both of these experiences. In order to deepen her practice and understanding of mindfulness and meditation, Miranda has taken Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) courses from Brown University.
Each Good Blessing Bath Bag is handmade, hand stamped and infused with love, healing, and positive energy. Miranda wanted each bag to be hand-stamped … some bags are almost perfectly stamped while others are not. This was intended and important to Miranda as a constant reminder that we are all “perfectly, imperfect.” Miranda chose the name “Good Blessings” for her bath bags since she firmly believes that, even in the most painful and darkest of hours, there is always a way to find good blessings in disguise.
Miranda hopes you enjoy your Good Blessings Bath Bag experience with love and light!
